I love the spelling of your voyage...that first drive is a "joyage", isn't it? Great looking car...but no video???
'50 Merc with Merc trim rings just like the Bakan Coupe. Sorry no video, This old man was more nervous than way back when....
Congrats,,that first ride is a blast,,,and the good thing about a roadster is you don't hear all the noises that would normally scare you! BTW,,was it a cold ride? HRP
There nothing like that first fireup. Then its even better to go for the first ride. Its very Joyable.Good for you.Now just get a seat in it and go for a long ride.
Started to build a '29 phaeton on duece rails, then found a 5w body, had to sell it to buy my avitar, then found and finished a channelled 5w project. This is the first full fendered car I ever built and I had no idea how much more is involved than building a fenderless car. 9 years, home built, all steel.
Congratulations ... nothing like a Roadster on a pretty day. I love your Roadster but then I may be BIASED A lot of folks have no idea how much more difficult it is to built a full fendered 32 with bumpers and such over a Hiboy ...
Gosh dang-it man. I can not wait to drive mine! Your fueling the fire man. Awesome roadster by the way.
Beautiful roadster, get a seat in that thing and drive the hell out of it. I can't wait for that feeling, my dad's car is at the paint shop right now. We have had his for 8 years, hopefully first drive will be around the end of april. His is a 33 Ford fendered roadster.
*****in!!! Thanks for sharing. "The first drive is the best drive" they say. The car is perfect. Putting in the time for the fenders was worth its while from what I can see.
