i had that exact same idea....with some of those triple thin whites that that one crazy japanese show rod has on its ass end...."rod reguez" sp?.....

don't know if i trust them as far as weight goes though....'cycles weigh a lot less then a car.....

I thought it would be cool to have the axle leaned back like an an old dragster so the tires would lean over when you turn, increasing the camber and it would push the bottom of the tire out more to be more stable in turns. Just an idea, no idea how it would work in real life.

  6. the problem with that arrangement is it will be very hard to turn the wheel as you will be lifting the front of the car every time you turn. however the car will track really straight.

  7. 140-90x 16 is a good size for the fronts[15-18 hundred pound rating [for the pair].

  8. I have been running 'cycle tires for years, just think, white walls on the inside too...! I usually run 130/90/16, but remember the contact patch is smaller on modern type tires...the ones pictured above are a little better. Bythe way, a good bike tire runs around $120.......

I was running M/T front tires and wanted a lower, narrower tire. I searched and found that Dunlop K555 come in alot of sizes. I ended up with 140/80/15 and was pleasantly surprised with how well they steered and rode on my T bucket. Found that I could get them online at about 1/2 the price that the local bike dealers wanted for them too.
