this is a 2 door hardtop out of Connecticut. it has the original 368 y-block in it, that i intend to restore. the whole car is there besides the hubcaps haha.good price,no?
nice deal, wish i never sold mine! i got mine for about the same as a runner two years ago... had rust though
Got a side shot? Looks like a great deal on a 2dr for a grand! Love the emblem on the trunk lid -cool... Malcolm
Cliffy has got your old car. He drove it to the Hunnert car this year, did you see it? Could be wrong but im pretty it was the one you sold. ROB
thats is good score for a grand. so whats your plans for it? stocker or custom.sorry to tell ya but someone touched that car the doors are open hahaha
There was a pink one that sold here in Japan for 6 grand, that I thought was an absolute BARGAIN Nice score! Side shots? Interior shots?
Man, there's this '57 Lincoln sitting a few blocks away from my house, it's been there since I was a little kid, and I've always loved them. You lucky *******, 1000 dollars..
heres a side pic.these are the pictures that were on ebay.ill have updated ones soon.as for my plans for this car...i'd like to shave the door handles, nose, deck, lower, take all the trim off, chrome knob grill, extended headlights(jersey dip style) and tailights,i'm thinking about a hood scoop off of a 53-54 mercury/similar style, radir tri-ribs with white wall slicks, high gloss aqua blue finish with heavy aqua blue metal flake,i wanna run the current 368 y-block,hopefully find a cam shaft and intake for it(dual quads or 3 deuces) doubtful, its going to be a lotta work, but i cant wait to start.id like to hear any ideas about modifications on this type of car. -ryan www.SoniMinoS.com "i dont have bad taste, i am just perfect"
Kongrats on the great find!! "57 Lincoln is one of my "have to own" some day list. It will make a bad *** kustom. Happy Trails, Mick
Ryan, For a grand you should have gotten more rust. Looks like a great deal as it has been kept dry for most of the last 50 years. These things look awsome with 3" of ground clearance. N B R
yeah i know... he got a new master and a new battery in it... sux cause he wants like 3 times what he paid me for it hahahha... otherwise i would buy it back
