This weekend is the annual Cavalcade of Cars in the Agricenter in Hamburg NY.
The show plays host to Northeast pinstripers benefit jam, in which all monies taken in are donated to the center for handicapped children.
You can bring in items to be striped or purchase one of the many items available for auction.
Paul Straus in the organizer of this thing and I am forwarding his message.

Hello to all. As many of you know I am coordinating the 6th annual charity
pinstriping jam on Feb 29--Mar 2nd at the Hamburg Fairgrounds Agri-Centre. I
have 20 extremely talented pinstripers and sign painters working with me to
stripe, letter of embellish anything you can carry through the doors for a
donation. We also have two live auctions on Sat and Sun at 2:00 PM. Many pieces
will be available for sale prior to auction . ALL money raised, 100% of it goes
directly to The Center For Handicapped Children. Every artist pays his own way
here and takes time out of there busy schedules to work side by side with each
other to achieve a common goal , HELPING CHILDREN ! The show promoter has
given us a section of vary valuable floor space to work in an Don Davis Auto
world has made a generous donation to elevate the hotel expenses of our out of
town artists. In the two past years we have raised over $25,000 but this is a
new time in history and we need all the help we can get. This is you chance to
own a unique one-off pieces of custom culture auto art. I am asking every one
to pass this e-mail on to all there friends to help support the cause. On Sat,
Mar. 1st I will be doing a radio show on WWKB,1520 AM on Estate Findings to
discuss the event. The show airs 8:00--9:00 AM. You may also go to
www.showandcruisenews.com. for more information. Attached is 6 photos of
items to be auctioned off. The "Traveling Barrel" is shown with 30 pinstripers
from all over the US, Canada , and even England who have all striped a portion
of it. The last item is Harvey the Rabbit . It is a free standing, hand bent
pinstriped design. Both will be silent auction items. Thank
you for your time and remember, ITS FOR THE KIDS .

My father went last year and had something pinstriped for me exactly one month before he passed. Pretty cool stuff there and it's definitely worth going if you live in Buffalo. Can't beat the cause either. Good luck this year.

I have gone the last 2 years. Its a cool show. Not huge I'd say less than 100 cars and bikes. The pinstripers make the show. I could stand there watching them all day. Plus they are cool about talking with you about what they are doing and how to get started. I've been using this show to get my wife into pinstriping but that seems to be slow going. I managed to get some lettering on some valve covers so far.

I'd like to get there myself on Sat, i'll have to see how thing's play out..
The auction Paul put's on is really something being there a couple year's ago and experiencing it first hand. I know there's a LOT of work involved by all, and the fact that it's all for charity is great.
Just wanted to give prop's to all those involved. It's a real good thing what you guy's are doing.

  21. Tonight I put my car in the show and was surprised by Bill Miller with this piece of art, a rendition of my car if you can believe it. I was surprised even further by my club donating 150 bucks to the charity for the purchase. Thank you everyone, you've got to see some of the cool ass shit they have for auction this year.

As a follow up the pinstripers raised $14,000.00 for the center for handicapped children, thank to all who went from Paul Strauss.
