Firewall Painting w/ the motor still in?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by fandangler, Mar 1, 2008.

  1. Any of you guys ever paint your firewall without taking out the motor? Thinking about trying it in my 54 Chevy but I'm not sure how its going to turn out. Any advice or pics would be very helpfull. Thanks

make sure to clean it real good with a degreaser. i used liquid sand paper that you get from a hardware store. tin foil works good where it is hard to tape off
