Just wondering if there is still going to be a Friday night cruise now that the show is in Santa Maria. And where is everyone planning on hanging out Friday and Saturday night? Food, bands, etc.....any info would be cool.
I was wondering about the crrrruuuuzzzzzz too. That is the only thing that I would miss about that other city. Everything else they are trying out for the first year sounds right on. B
I heard a rumor floating around that there might be bands playing after the show at the Bowling alley at the other end of town on Donovan rd. It's a nice lil cruise down broadway(four lanes) from the fairgrounds to Donovan. It's was a nice cruise route that would be packed every weekend during the Lowrider revival in the 90's. I'll post more info If I hear any. One thing for all of you used to Paso....you might wanna think twice before you leave a windowless or hoodless car unattended in SM. The lil thugs and cholos will swipe your ****...bolt your caps on. Watch the cops too....they are smart there. All thoses years battling lowriders has taught them alot about cars.
Yeah I heard the same things about bands playing after. Im sure we can get something going. DirtyBird is right about watching your stuff. It can get a little ruff there at night with stuff coming up missing. Not everyone is like that but there is the bad apples in every town.
