ATL. HAMB & GRITS Sunday March 2nd

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by GreenMtnBoy, Feb 27, 2008.

  1. Allright guys and G.R.I.T.S. (girls raised in the south, for the transplants) Its time for some good ol' country cookin' and b.s.'n at the Southern Skillet in Roswell http://www.theskillet.com/
Since it is the same day as Brad's swap, lets push it up to 8:00am so we can cruise over to the swap afterwards and buy some stuff.
We'll save a seat for all you party animals that can't drag your butts out that early ;).

Great, this time, maybe I can make it! Last time I had a bad night, sick and up most of the night and just wasn't up to the drive up and back, and daily driver problems to boot.
Got the MK8 in a little better running order now, and should ge able to get there OK.
It's amazing how fast a post can drop to page #3 here on HAMB, glad I kept clicking away or I would have missed this thread.

  3. Glad to hear you are feeling better. As long as you are driving up, plan on swinging up to Brad's Swap at Lanier Speedway with us after breakfast.

Shit, that's gonna hurt! Meeting 60 miles from home, and being there at what's now 7:00am!
Oh well, we must all make sacrifices in this life, but I'll be damned if I know why!

Wasn't the camping that made you sick!

Did you drink any of that beer that makes your butthole hurt?

I hear a lot of that shows up on camping trips.:D

  13. I may not have been clear....
I meant we are going to meet at 8:00am (1hr earlier) so we can make it to the swap.
Daylight savings begins next Saturday March 9th.

LOL! Went back and re-read your post and now I see what you meant when you said "timechange"!
But, especially knowing we had DST tme change coming upi, I thought I had let it slip on me, it's easy to read the way I took it!
So instead of getting up an hour earlier for HAMB & Grits, it's get up an hour early to get to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the race.

  15. Damn where do you buy that ? You guys have some exotic beer in Ga! I thought only Green Mountain Salsa made that body part hurt

  19. We're pretty easy to spot, look for a bunch of old cars parked together or we're inside eating, they save us space waayyy in the back away from the rest of the customers.;)

Don't know the last time I asked "Blue Bitch" ( my Lincoln MKviii), to respond that early in the morning, but if she'll get up and cart me up there, and the crick don't rise, I'll be there.
Yall look out for a tall, gray haired and bearded Ol' Fart who looks lost and that'll be me!

You'll pick us out easy. Either a large group gathered around old cars in the parking lot or sitting in a special room in the back of the restaurant out of harms way.
