Sprint Car Historians - I just got a radiator shell that I feel is from the 20's or 30's. If any of you might know something about it please chime in. Chopped50Ford will be adding the pictures for me. Hoping for feedback. My intentions were to use it on my '29 "A" Modified so let me know if I am destroying a part of sprint car history.

    Thanks !

Here are the photos of the shell, which may help this thread along.

41 Dave, what backgound do you have on this that says it is a sprint car shell? It does look narrowed.
I personally have no idea about the make of the shell. '22

  4. Looks like a narrowed Model AA truck shell to me

  5. I agree- looks like a narrowed AA shell, and would probably look great with the modified A body.

22dodge - Thanks for posting the pictures.

This shell measures 30 inches tall (width don't remember) depth is 6 inches.

It also has holes like it had external trim that went around the front of the shell.

Doesn't seem to me like it has been modified (yet !).

Anyone else have any comments ?
