well, the guys were hard at it last saturday and got two cars tac'd together! wish i coulda been there, but what the hell. this wed plans are to have a third done, and soon as i can climb into the jig with my shoulder in the sling, we'll be sewin' mine up as well! once again, billy, steve, whitey and myself cant express how thankfull we are for the help and guidance we have been getting from bob and 2b... you're both the best!
We did really well on Sat. with getting 2 cars nailed together, we had all the tubes bent and just had to fit & weld. Wed should also go along well also, with another one set for next Sat. These guys are a riot to work with & C'boybob and myself are looking forward to having some more guys to run with. They are full of enthusiam & certainly not lacking on ability.
I am lacking ability but i found if i follow around 2b he tells me what to do lol. Had a blast on saturday wish i lived closer i would be there on wed. also. Just glad i can do my part i am learning a ton. With all these guys around it's really hard to figure who i want to learn from first!
Thanks to teh gerg for his help on sat it made it a Vagabonds Wi build also Thanks Bro . But it was a blast and learened alot about fab work to boot ! what awsome guys and friends!
well, Wednesday night was a total success! we got whiteys chassis out of the jig, and even started on the 3XL chassis for yours truely
Guys, the chassis looks great, but I'm more impressed with your group enthusiasm. I think that's what keeps this whole HA/GR thing growing. Ron
yea, our ragtag little motley crew is pretty pumped up about these racecars... except for the Louver Dude... he's craping out on us this weekend... see he's a master plumber, and needs to have so much ongoing education about the trade to maintain his license... so this weekend is a series of seminars teach the ongoing thing... imagine that, he'd rather be there than here!!!
I know you're kidding, but it's likely more a case of He'd rather be there than in a carboard box under a bridge somewhere. I have to do 'continuing ed' type stuff too, royal pain, not the education part, the scheduling; how do they keep finding the only time I REALLY want to do something and schedule this crap then? BOOO
Nice fellas, A guys got to do what a guys got to do ! WEll its good to be missed or I guess not missed in this case....hmmm

Well you guys have set the new standards for build quality and time of construction. Let's see how you finish 'em out.
Well Traves the # 007 looks good with you sitting in it, wish I could have been there. I won't touch mine till after the Lone star now...to much work to get done on the 53 before we leave
Those look like really well constructed, safe race cars. It's gonna be a great time in Joplin! Makes me proud to be a Vagabond. Good job guys. Trav, you can almost see your lips fluttering, making Vroom Vroom noises in that pic. LOL
