ok Sleep in is sold out they said they have another one 12 miles down the road... but where is every one else staying i dropped the ball on calling to late..

It's getting closer!

We now have 7 of the Tennesse chapter planning on rolling down. Connie and I will be in the Caddy, Phillup & Joe in Phils newly acquired 53 Ford sedan, Corey, Kelly & Brett in his '63 Buick and the Professor's gonna drive his 23 touring down if it doesn't rain too much (no top, no side curtains, no nuttin) .

 

It's like a Merc, only BETTER.

 

I'll be there, drivin this pile.

That's awesome, we'll have more Poor Boys there than have ever been in one place before.

Plus I see people are coming from MI, GA, NY, SC.... going to be quite a gathering.

 

Wow that sucks man, let me help you out. I just got my tax refund ($1500.), and would love to take that POS off your hands. Plus I need something to drive when I'm in Orlando. I'm here to help...

How many others from NY or am I the only one ?

 

There are a couple of registrations from NY... lots for Georgia, some from South Carolina, Tennessee, one from Maryland...

all over.

The next closest hotel is the MicroTell... its about 200 yards from the Museum.

 

A few of the PoorBoys dropped by on Saturday to give their cars a once over before the show, which is about a 12-13 hour drive. Neither of them really have a shop to work in right now so I invited them to come on up and use my place.

Not sure what all they got accomplished, other than drinking all my beer and making a big freakin' mess. I should have took more pics but we worked steady from about noon till 2 a.m.

Quite a few of us West-Central Fl guys are going...

 

I hope to be driving our '51 F-1, if I can get it to run well enouth for the round trip from Tampa. If not, I'll bring the '53 Panel Truck. Looking forward to it.

 

I'm visiting family in Central Florida the week beforehand. I plan on stopping in at the show to check it out on the way back home to cold Ohio

 

we'll be there dont know how many yet (dallas GA.)

 

I'm going taking the thirty.

 

I am going to be there - I will be selling the Rat Fink merchandise and the hot rod dvds

I am hoping someone locally can let me borrow a pop up tent ?

And I have not heard back from Alan about tables being rented.......
does anyone know if the Garlits Museum is supplying any of this stuff?

I am trying to do some finishing up on mine . But the weather is fucking with me up here. Anyway I plan to take the heap out tomorrow so I can test the new brakes out. Hopefully most of the snow will be gone, but you never know up here in NY with snow. Either way the car is going out tomorrow and I will take pics

I am hoping to hook up with the Poor Boys Tampa chapter and shoot some video on Thursday or Friday............anyone up for that?

 

I was really hoping to make this but I won't be out of Afghanistan until March 26th, hopefully. Maybe next year...
