I couldn't resist posting some pics of the sedan after it was dropped off tonight. We put it on the ch***is and I can't even begin to describe how geeked I am now, it's almost a car. I've got to get to bed, those old guys are going to be here in a few hours to do somw wiring so here you go. This thing turned out better than I ever dreamed it would.
The only thing that could make her look any better...is me driving her! (LoL) A seriously cool lookin ride you got there. Seems were kindred spirits. My first wife had to go to make way for my cars too. Good to see someone else gettin there priorities right. Good luck finishing her, then drive the wheels off her, she'll love it.
It's coming together! I'm excited for you. You deserve it, man, you worked your *** off to get it to this point and I know you learned a ton along the way. I'll see you down there on Saturday.
Frank and I went over today to watch scott work. We got the basic engine wiring done. After four trips to the parts store we finally got the right size alternate belt, got the headers on and fired it up. It sounds fantasic Scott is so excited I doubt he will sleep at all until move in on Thursday. The only bad part of the whole day was Scott running his damn compressor during nap time Frank just turned his hearing aids off but i had no such luck
Thanks everybody. FAB32 and FuelPump left a little while ago. We managed to get a really basic ignition system in the sedan. I'll save the wiring kit I bought for the roadster. Got the belts after four trips to Car Quest I'm waiting for the end clip to the throttle cable which should be here tomorrow and a few other things and we'll be all set. It was pretty cool the first time turning the key in the thing and having it come to life. It's insanely loud, can't wait to hear it in the COBO ba*****t. My visor and gas tank top showed up today too so I threw them on and snapped a few more pics.
