I have been on this site for a while now and for some reason i never introduced my self (must be the old guy part of me) I work for the post office and will retire the end of this year. Right now i am working on a 1930 Buick model 68 5 p***enger coupe that will be my daily driver when i finish. 331 hemi (1954) 727 trans and a 9" ford rear. Other cars i have had are 1929 A sport coupe, 1934 ford coupe, 48 Pontiac conv. 350/350, 48 Lincoln conv. 56 ford 390 4 speed. I have also been a master mechanic with lincoln/mercury. I joined today because i have had a lot of help with a post i made about brakes for my buick.
Hi, B.G. Welcome, you sound like me. I've been readig for sometime too but never joined up. Do you have any pic's of the 1930 Buick? I think we'd all like to see what you've got going on in that tan shed.
Thanks for the welcome. People have been great trying to help me with my brake conversion. First picture is what it looked like when my son and i picked it up in Ohio. Second picture is when i went to put it in my ba*****t 1 week later. Plum Island M***. Last picture is what it looks like now. Now i have to take it out of the ba*****t because i,m selling this house and rehabbing another one. This one will be my retirement home. Smaller (empty nesters now). I am renting some space at another collector,s shop. Finally a little room to move around the car. Again Thanks for the welcome biggeorge
