  2. Shall we assume from the "AD" that this is a pickup? If so, there's plenty of threads regarding this very subject. Go to www.ad-engineering.com for a kit to do the complete frame swap. Chevs of the 40s makes a bolt-on front crossmember for mounting the Mustang II stuff.

  4. I wouldn't personally spend the money on these mounts, but check out this site for info on the swap-http://www.ad-engineering.com. The swap is easy, you should get a short bed, long bed chassis, and the truck will fit perfectly.

Clark's tech is very infomative and if you can find it on here also has picture's of what he's explaining.
It IS in the tech achives, but not under his name because at the time he user name wasn't Clark..
I bought a 52 last year on an S-10 frame already, but had to redo
everything and used his advice to do it.
It's NOT hard if you have basic fab skill's and a good 220 welder..And MUCH cheaper than any kit out there..
I probably have less than 100$ invested in the steel to make all the mount's.

well now, that's a whole different situation then :)
Just a quick question, what's wrong with the stock front end, OR are you doing major drivetrain mods and simply looking for better stopping/steering?
I only ask because i have a 53 belair myself with stock, but lowered suspension and alway's thought it drove pretty good..And it's been driven a lot and out on the highway etc...

I will admit, i've looking into the bolt in front mustang II set up offered through the aftermarket companies. Not a bad deal and seemed pretty easy compared to a front clip.

If the frame its on is not screwed up beyond repair, I'd just fix up the old frame.
