Man... No love for us Florida guys. This state does **** as far as hot rodding stores go. The most custom parts you can find around here is for Honda's and 4x4's. Most of the south Florida population came from some foreign Island. The others that migrated here from the north are to old to even keep up with the speed limit, much less hot rods. Your best bet is to buy parts from fellow hambers or Egay. Mail order and the internet is what I have to resort to. It's rough living here in America's wang.:(

However i was planning to order some parts from mooneyes, suicidedorrs and some other places, i think i'll buy the parts there then.
    But they don't sell a headlight frenching/bezels like this (merc 52-54) :

I agree 100% and the swap meets only have chrome valve covers, and other stuff that is cheaper to buy online.
I seldom find anything I need at swaps anymore. What is there is way overpriced.

I agree, not that big on FL personally, but it does have D. Garlits and his museum though and that place is cool.

All that talk about not finding anything at Florida swapmeets, sounds like people that don't go to Sumpter County Swapmeet every month...

    Do they still sell parts?
I hope so cause they carried a bunch of traditional parts and they were always cool to deal with

Well, someone is gonna have to change Floridas resposibility to the hot rod folks in need......that being said....i will be opening a shop up in Clearwater very soon...getting all my ducks in a row as we speak. Its not the easiest or cheapest thing just jump into, but Im going to put everything I have into it and hope for the best! I will be looking to vend wheels, www's, and few other things to start out with but since im a custom bodyman and painter by trade I will be offering all kinds of customizing as well. I have a 5,000sq. ft. shop now with a showroom and paintbooth and to top that I will also have an upholstry guy in house! Hope to see some local support?

Im just throwing this out there...

My dad (Jere) kinda got tired of having to shop around for parts to build his '40 Ford and roadster projects, so he started buying into companies and is now starting a small business called " Model A's N Up LLC" Its based in Punta Gorda FL, he's been dealing very well with the Brookville boys, Vintique, and others His web page is still coming together but its up and running giving you contact info n such check it out at http://www.modelasnup.com Im not saying he has it all, but drop him a line and ask, cant hurt. I know every so often he'll order complete bodies/frames, pick them up at major shows like York PA Nats, Louisville Nats and bring 'em back to FL. I think he also narrows 9 inchers? By the way if you do talk to him, tell him I sent ya... Thanx, Jason

I am changing my response as I realize I was responding to an 18 year old female child.

So my response to this comment is... you got it honey. You must be well travelled to feel that way.

Best thing about Washington is that she is there, not here. We have enough ***holes already.

I don't really know of any other places....Hot Rod & Custom Supply would have had everything you are looking for, but as said earlier, they moved to Michigan.
