Looks very good .My car was upside down I am having to find the pieces that people do not have or even want to sell .Good luck the car is on its way .
I hear ya. I bought this "complete" body and bed. just finally getting through the bed and found a set of doors. i guess i would say that, yeah, i do really want it but NEED it more than anything. this was my only chance on my budget and there was no thought that it wouldn't happen.
did ya learn your car building skills from doing brickwork ? everywhere in your pics is brick work... start with one piece and add more until it's what ya want ... looks like your yellow donor was pretty nice to cut up tho?
I have a bad habit of taking cars that people say are s**** and building them. I am having a hard time getting motivated on my pontiac because its too nice to start with.
Keep it up man. It's nice to see somone working this hard to build something they want. It looks great.
Hey there neighbor....keep up the hard work...the snow will p*** (yes we had a blizzard in KC this morning..where is Spring?)! Speedy3 had it right...sweet...The quilting effect actually looks super bad *** (technical term). Ever think of leaving it a little frankinstein-ish... leaving the body alone with just the s***ches and multicolor body panels? Your handy work will be missed under paint! (There has got to be some folk art, kansas quilt twist you can put on this thing! Midwest Style!) Hope to see it around town...
Not even once. Thanks for the props, everyone. Means a lot and I know I'm not the only one duking it out like this. Jay's coupe is a perfect example. Tim - The roadster was sold and the new owner is on the HAMB.
DEDICATION. That is awesome, just think of how much more this car will mean to you in the finish compared to a perfect steel body that just needed paint! THIS my friends ..................... is real Hot Rodding.
