Plowboy's creation is incredible. If you've seen the pictures I cannot tell you how much better it is in person. It's a GIANT leap from last years offering. Just the color difference in person is amazing. Soooo, if you haven't been to Cobo yet, get your **** in gear and go see it. There's some other cars there you might be interested in also.:rolleyes::cool::D:D:D

    Outstanding pics man.

  6. What a wierd feeling.

I've always taken "Autorama" for granted. When I was a kid, Dad would take us to go see Bo and Luke or Bigfoot or whatever the phase was then.

Then, in high school, I dated a girl who's (step) Dad was really into Mid 60's Mopars and Anglias and stuff. I went with her, and her parents, for 6 or 7 years of my teens. I figured it was "another" car show, kinda a filler between the Auto show and spring, when everyone got their cars out.

Now, I see alot of people saying "I wish I were there" , meaning here in Detroit. After my winter hiatus in Tennessee, I understand what they are saying. I too, wished I was in Detroit. If you're within a days drive, you owe it to yourself to make it. Don't make excuses, just be here. Not only do we have a killer show at Cobo, but the Saturday night Shenanigans are world reknown.

Thanks for the pix, they let the rest of the world know what we're really made of here in the "D".

Yep....alot of beer and autographs. The best was the guy with the moonboots shoo-ing me away. Yep, he signed it.

I'm still bummed that flatheadpete isnt a big fat guy.

Well, I guess some one has too.

    Sell Out. :p :p

  13. Thanx for all the great Pictures. I for one would have loved to be able to see the Atomic Punk CIMG1562.JPG in person but alas I live half way across the country. What was with the machine gun air cleaner and the bomb intake? I guess I just don't like silly themes much. Build a cool car and let it stand on it's own don't clown it up.
    This is just right. CIMG1633.JPG

Thanx again for all the cool shots.

    Dan,
Yes its there. It wasn't easy but it made. Frank and I went over a couple of days and watched Scott work on it :D:D Beyond that there was only one wrecker call and two stops at tire stores to get it there.:p:p Its red oxide and in the Nightnares display area. It turned out really nice. Scott worked night and day and keep thrashing dispite all the setbacks. He really earned his stripes finishing this one.
