6 X 2 Olds intake. Whats it worth?

I got a line on and old Offenhauser six two intake manifold. It looks real nice, seams to be in mint shape. Everything is polished on it. The only thing wrong with it is, its sitting on a shelf collecting dust and not bolted to a rocket. I won't say what the guy wanted for it because if its a smokin' hot deal then I may pick it up.

So the question is what would you guys say it's worth? I don't see them much on Ebay, so I have no idea what they are worth. Thanks.

if it has the water crossover that holds the thermostat,then a lot more,since those always seem to get lost.
if it has 6 Holley 94s on top,even more.
if it has 6 Stromberg 97s or 81s well,you get the idea.
of course,a lot of people talk about running a Rocket engine,but few of them do after they find out what's involved

 

id say $200ish.. I sold a couple for around that.. I had a drag star and a no namer...

 

$250-300 with the water crossover, next nothing without it... If it has carbs on it add $100 a piece for 94's, $150 a piece for 97's....

I just got off the phone with the person selling the manifold and he said it doesn't have the thermostat. It's just the two logs with the tubes going across to each other.
I never seen an olds intake with the thermostat housing in it, for a six deuce setup.

 

I think its worth more than what several guys have quoted here. But if you want it, then make an offer and see what happens. I would pay $500 plus for it.

 

The question is what is it worth to you and how much do you want it

 

I paid $300 on e-bay.
