I'm not sure if you all remember the story about the Wisconsin guy that purchased 21-trailers that were stuffed full of NOS and used Chevy performance parts, a Yenko Camaro, a couple of '57 Vettes and a couple of '70 LS-6 Chevelles a couple of years back, but the parts and some of the cars are heading to auction in May.

You can check out the story HERE.

Interesting that Bud Ward is the auction company. He's in Little Rock.

Did Chevy make muscle cars??? :D:p

  7. Not much room to make an $$ on the deal. I hear they paid somewhere around 2 to 2.5 for the package. We did the math quick on a bar napkin when we went up to see the stash not all that long ago. At that time, with HIGH prices for everything, we figured they paid about what the stuff was worth. It was questionable of the Yenko Camaro was real. The cars were nice, but not nice enough for huge $$. After auction fees, I would guess the guy will probably break even or more than likely loose his ass. When there are 75 muncies at an auction, the price on each will surely be much less than market price I would guess. There was nice stuff and lots of it.

That will be a fun auction if your buying or not. I suspect that the Muncies will go for choice of lot then another go around for second choice of lot and so on until they are sold. The last few could be a bargain, but likely the worst of the stash. I'd like to know if someone buys them all in one bid, a serious chunk of change for sure. I'll take a '57 Vette if someone there wants to surprise me on my birthday.:)
