I've gotten a few PM's asking when and were everyone's meeting and stuff for Indy. I'm going to assume that quite a few HAMB folks will park in the Garage Grown area on Saturday so why don't we make that the Meet and Greet spot. How does 12 noon on Saturday sound? So, who's going? Me and Big Olds
I am! I will be with my Dad, Uncle, a couple of family friends and the elusive Chris50. We will be sure to check up on you and your cookies, uh, I mean the new makeover on Mr. Big Olds!
Hey Denise, My dad and I will be there in the 37. My pinstriper buddy from Canada will be with us. We are gonna roll over early Friday morning. We will meet up at noon on Saturday. I just got off the phone with junk runner sr he says he'll park in garage grown on Saturday. How do we see to it that Ryan gets our registration fee?
There will be a caravan of cool cars leaving Detroit Thursday morning at 8am. I'll be covering it for the Goodguys Gazette. Also anyone who caravans with us will be getting into Indy for FREE!!!! Not to mention getting to travel with some great people.
Denise... Sounds fun.. I look forward to meeting hambers... My son (3GJalopy) will have his '29 truck over in the 25 & under area... I'll tell him to head on over them. Tom Culberson from the Indy Road Rockets is having an open house at his shop Saturday Night.. It should be a great time..
So far it looks like HotRodTom and I'll be going down. There are a lot of northern Gay Michigan Bitches who are putting forth some real lame excuses for not going. If we make it , Sat. noon sounds good. Frank
I will be there with my wife. We are going to be spectaters. I am bringing the duelly to this one, I am picking up the '55 Plymouth on the way home.
I will be there with my better half. does anyone know if I will get hassled pulling a small trailer in with a bike on it? I know i cant ride it around but i want to try out my trailer I built to match my car and bike. I may be in the 25 and under with my a coupe. whats up with the road rockets open house? sounds fun cya there
Denise, my wife and I will be there on Thursday through Sunday. I'm acting as kind of a support crew for my buddy Steve who is bringing his '38 Bantam-bodied race car. It's one fast mother. Should be in the 8.60 ET range. We will be driving our '63 Dodge Polara convert so I don't think I would feel comfortable in the Garage Grown area. Probably just me, but I will see you on Saturday to yak with the other HAMBers. Everyone, have a safe trip!
Me too also, driving the new ragtop, leaving at noon today as I have a bunch of business to attend to. See ya at Garage Grown. B B
Denise, brother(WZ Junk) and I will be there. We are leaving Rolla at 7:00AM on Thursday morning and should be at registration about mid-afternoon. One of the cars in our group is being put back together/completed today so we may have some un-anticipated stops. We may have to stop a couple times for the Mongoose as well. See you there. Sam
I should be there all weekend, hitching a ride in my old fatrat project with plans to camp across the street. Noon Sat, will try to make it.
My wife and I will be there Saturday. I think a copule of fellow CSR members will be with me. See you then!
I'll be there Sat. and Sun. Can't get off work Fri. I'm planning on parking in the garage grown area also. See 'ya all there!!!
I am taking the sedan, my dad will be in his LeSabre, and a friend of ours will be tagging along with his newly built T-bucket....Flathead V-12 powered by the way. I am sure to meet up with ya'll on Saturday. -Joe
I'll be there, but I'll be doing the whole drag racing thing, look for a '37 Willys P-U gasser that flat black and says Ross Auto on the side I be tuning on it all weekend, but there's always time for a brew!
Although the weather was uncooperative, it was a good show, and like always it was good to meet alot of you guys. Saturday evening, being bored and nosy, I happened to stumble upon a gathering of hot rodders at a small shop near my motel. I wanna give a big thanks to the Road Rockets for inviting me in to snoop around and "shoot the shit" with them for a little bit. When I was leaving, I was confronted with the question "Are you by chance, one of the Gay Bitches from Michigan?" After I answered with a "YES", proudly, I discovered that it was our very own Andys Deuce and OilCan Harry. Thanks again to all of you that I run into over the weekend, it sure helped to make a rotten weekend (weather wise) turn into a good time. -Joe
