After some lurking around from time to time I decided to go ahead & join up. I can't remember who told me about this place, but I browse around Fordmuscle.com, Cooks Garage, and several other forums that mostly relate to turbocharged Dodges or diesel stuff. Any ways. I'm Jeremy and currently I live in central Florida but I call northeast Texas my home. I grew up around cars, my father was a hot rodder back in the 40s & 50s. I'm not quite sure that I'll fit in too well, but we'll see. I have an odd fascination with suicide door Lincolns, Galaxies, diesel power, and of things the Shelby Dodges from the 80s. Currently all I own are a Daytona Turbo Z C/S, an old F-250 diesel, and a couple 68 Lincolns. In the past I've had a half dozen Galaxies, a few Falcons, 49 - 51 shoebox Fords, a '17 Model T, and even some vintage VW stuff. Without sitting down & making a list I can't even tell you how many vehicles I've had. My future projects are going to be a 68 Lincoln roadster, powered by a 462 MEL. Think I'll scrounge up an old Marauder intake for it, but you never know.. I may adapt some sort of fuel injection to it. Currently I'm planning on building a teardrop trailer replica or possibly restoring an original one if I can find one. I also am slowly making my plans to move back to the family homestead in Texas where I'll rebuild the place and attempt to make it as self sustaining as possible. Well, I think I've rambled on enough. Think I'll browse around for a bit.
That's a sweet looking car you've got there. Do you know many of the local "car guys" back there? Chances are if you do we've crossed paths a time or two.
