Does anyone remember or have photos of a 1930 durant that had the roof raised by Dave Puhl house of kustoms it was used as a sign at some point somewhere around Chicago.I've owned a it couple years now and would like to know some of its past before rebuilding it thanks
Here it is as of Aug 2009.... 1971 Cadillac 472... Still have stuff to "finish" but... IT'S ALIVE!! http://www.youtube.com/v/j_SrwUR5snw&hl
I think that they did that intentionally when the roof was raised. Looks like hellrazor's got it straightened out now. Looks good, man.
Put the old Durant grill back on it in my opinion. Seems to me it has lost it's iden***y as a rare Durant. That hood is very cool also.
It's cut in half in 2 pieces on the floor, like I got it, cut in half, not braced from the guy I got it from.
They were really cool, but I sent them to evil1. He's building a '30 durant coupe. The grill I have now is off a '34 Chevy. I'm looking for a durant emblem to braze to the shell instead of the chevy one.
