Headin to LA

Hey guys headin out to La for a week to hang with a friend but hes gotta job so Ill have days to kill. Thought I would hit up some shops lookin for cool junkyards rod/custom shops or places to get parts for my 02 chief or Parts for my 66 galaxie any ideas? or even a good place to eat /get a beer? look forward to suggestions.

try the pantry in downtown los angeles. its on 9th and figueroa right off the 110 fwy. its been there since the 30s and they never close..seriously! they never close,...

 

Eat, beer and beautiful girls = Hermosa beach. A must see!

 

Make sure you stop at Tommy's and grab a chili burger.

 

I am actually not sure were in la yet been workin late so havent had a chance to even get his address. So far I am planning on So Cal speed shop and if I can find em condor customs if you havent seen this guy look em up he is awesome!!

 

Go to the lowrider exhibition at the Peterson, its amazing

a lot of street rods but, its free and you get a few local car clubs come by with some nice rides. a lot of coming and going so take a look, leave, come back in an hour the view will have changed.

 

I am for sure gonna try and hit as many of these spots as possible I am for sure gonna hit the Peterson and do my best not to drool on the lows. Wish i was bringin the Galaxie or the Chief down but my boy said no way could I park it in his neighborhood and be cool so the daily it is. any one know if there is a show, bar or banda that are must see for this simple corn fed Kustom lovin boy from Nor Cal ?
