i see this posted all the time and every one has there easy cover ups and what works for them right now.

rust is a cancer that does not stop unless it is removed........ there are many ways to get rid of it but they do not include the cover ups, encapsulate rs, converters and other things that they try to sell you at car shows or on tv

look at any higher end build and think why do they acid dip, media blast all the parts??????

why do patch panels rot out a few years after they are put in ????? simple not protection after they are welded in on the back side

why do you get bubbles in your paint after a few years??? rust works from the inside out. if there is rust left on the inside it will soon bubble the out side.

how many times have you seen a nicely painted car that you want to buy and look under it to see whats under it is gone or if you push hard enough your finger goes through it????

if the spot welds along a pinch weld are really sunken in it means there is rust between the panels. example look at any toyota truck 1/4 panel

if you clean a panel it is not ready for primer till it is all the same color. any dark spots in the pits will come back. does not matter how much primer, etch primer, epoxy primer, por 15 and so on you put on top of it.

why do chrome shops not want to do our windshield frames????? because they can not do anything to the inside and it will come back.

been doing this way too long and seen it all come back years later with people asking why this happened. no one likes to hear my answer but they know it is true.

Oh no, I beg to argue... It's called patina, people pay big money for that low buck look.
