Nah, he's not beating a dead horse, he's trying to get kicked off, so his buddies over at his rat rod board will think he's cool.

Why do you care what anyone else thinks about YOUR build? It's your build, not theirs. If you're ready to quit a build over someone else's comments on the internet or at a cruise-in, don't bother starting because things are gonna get a lot tougher than that and you're gonna wanna quit over and over again in the course of building any car. My god, is this a hot rod forum or a self-help forum?

The HAMB is a microcosm of society in general - all kinds on here - some helpful, some not, but one thing is for sure, you'd better grow a thicker skin and not play the victim of 'those mean HAMBers' if you are to survive. So your question is?????

Ditto...and maybe, just maybe could we possibly order a side of changes to the menu? I mean, some of these guys can't read between the lines or run a search because they're ignorant! Don't take it personal Newb's, but if you don't know something, that currently means you're ignorant or "uneducated" if you will. Don't get me wrong. None of us were born into this. Some just started before others. Remember, the guys that started this whole great "movement" did it on they're own! They wrenched and created things soo great, DETROIT TOOK NOTICE! That is why the term "rat rod" isn't accepted. It's degrading. Outside of the rock-a-silly bubble, people ask, "Why is it soo rusty?" The modern "rat" is seemingly unsafe and more times than not, IS. Don't get discouraged that you don't have the know-how. EVERYONE was a beginner and more than a few of these guys have dunked the tack rag in thinner because it "reconditions the rag so you can pick up more dust". Also, this site is for Traditional cars. Notice that isn't limited to restorations that sound like hit-and-miss engines. Rather take it as "The Golden Age" of our shared hobby! When things were done for purpose rather than to be different. I believe I've ranted enough and the Mods are probably gonna shut this one done anyway. Don't feel bad. I had a thread killed that I felt pertained to this site by way of Roth or Mouse. No big deal. It's not my site. You should feel the same. There is a VAST amount of info here. Stick like glue and you WILL become familiar and have a great build. Hope your build comes out like you invision it. Watch and learn.
