It was great meeting the whole Strange Days Montana crew and seeing the Finkosel in action. I was completely amazed with the amount of detail. I think my favorite character was Surf Fink with that little crab on the back of his board and teeth that come out of his eyeballs!

I look forward to seeing you all on the salt this summer!

Ok, so we are together for nearly 5 days with only separation to go to bed or bath, how did I miss the chance to ride the Finkosel? I'm devastated

I didn't actually get to "ride" it as it was moving...against the show policy inside Cobo BUT while helping to pack up the truck (after you left Sunday night) I got to sit on all the characters, and the surf dude was my favorite as well .....did you check out his toungue??? We WILL have an opportunity to ride it as much as we want....we just need to visit Shreveport.

I'd like to say I really miss it, and I do, but we found it a good home and that open area it left in the shop leaves unlimited possibilities. Stay tuned for more madness!
We felt so unprepared for what hit us. It was nuts!. We didnt even bring business cards. My arm got tired of writing our address on the backs of s****s of paper. As soon as I got home I put up a rudmentary website so folks could figure out who the hell we were.... Talk about a bunch of rubes.......

I guess I musta missed that one. I just liked the thought that I followed the build on Aaron's buildup here at the HAMB and the secular auto world was drooling all over it. I guess there is hope for the Rice Rocketeers to gain some cl***....

 

Well deserved indeed. Every time I walked past it and saw kids staring at it it just made me smile. Great job guys.
