Sorry to add on to the GM interchange, but the front doors on all 59 GM cars had to be the same. Olds added a piece of sheetmetal and everyone else drilled different holes. In research for my 59 Caddy I found out that Buick and Cadillac had the same back window.

    <font color="green">That ain't totalled man!!!

Find a quarter panel and go!!!

Actually, if you can find another car with a good front end and left rear and some other horrible affliction, you can hack it up and have parts enough to fix that AND have your El Cabuick.

I'm lovin' this idea. Then you've got the perfect combo a cool truck and a laid down ride for carryin' the ladies around.

I know we can't see all the damage toward the bottom but did it really tweak the frame or something? If not, I'm with the Rash, a new quarter, a new door, and a BFH and you're back on the road.

The price to get all the parts for the susspension front and rear. body panels innerstructure. For one of the hardest buicks to find period. To fix it cost almost 2/3 what the car is worth. I already did quite a bit of body work to get it where it was. It already had front end damage from an old acident, and parts of the rear sheet metal were swiss cheese. Unless someone has some cheap buick parts I've hit every junk yard around here and all I can find is 4 drs.The one with a 2 door thinks its made out of gold.

I always wondered why no one used those 59 Buick grills in customs. Be different than the usual screen full of bullets. Guess no one likes squares.

I did some research a while back on my 60 I don't remember the exact numbers but I found out by measuring that 59-60 4dr sedans, 4dr ht, sedan delivery's, elcamino's, 4dr wagons had the same windsheilds. But 2dr hardtops had shorter windshields. The only one that I couldn't check was a 2dr sedan because the junkyard I was at didn't have one plus I couldn't check a convertible but I figure they are the same as the 2dr ht windsheilds. They had all the other models I just mentioned. Plus I measured my 60 before I went up there.

Hey rash I know where there is a 59 elcamino not far from me but it needs glass. Its in a town called arkadelphia which is about 45 minutes away from me. I saw next to an old house where someone is selling some crappy looking used cars. I didn't get a price tho cause I couldn't find anyone around when I went through.

Oh Yea there was a guy in the next town up from me who just sold a 2dr hardtop 59 buick about a month ago and he told me that he had a parts car somewhere in the woods but he didn't tell me where at so I could go look at it. He did tell me that eventually he was going to pull it out and sell it. Whats sad is he had alot of trouble selling it because no one was interested except for my broke ass and a couple of my friends who were broke to. He sold it for 500 bucks with a running nailhead in it. Around here alot of this stuff is getting crushed because people can't sell it quick so they haul it. If I had some money I could show up with all kinds of crap from around here. Just about a month or two ago I let two complete 55 pontiac 4drs, and a 59 elky go to the crusher cause I didn't have the money to buy them. I hate when things get tight down here but you can't save em all.

Well folks, Rashy will be back after he spends some 'alone time' and cleans up. LOL Then, I'm guessing, he's taking off work and going to Arkadelphia. Which, believe it or not, I have actually driven through myself. I didn't know it was big enough to HAVE an old house sellin' crappy used cars. LOL Is that the town where the goat sleeps on the hood of that old truck?

I was looking at a 59 buick in Ark but whaen I finaly got the pics all the wheels are gone it was burried up to the door bottoms all windows gone and you had to be a lumberjack to get it out. Then he wanted 1600 for it. Id never seen so many cars with trees growing trough them he was trying to sell one it was a unibody ford with a 5 foot thick tree in the engine compartment.
