I am actually thinking about adding a center y link to control the axle rotation..I have two months to finish this....sounds like a bunch of time.. but with 8 customer cars going at the same time.....it is gonna be tight.. Jason.

Here are some new pics... Added the cowl steering and most of the body and floor brace.. Gonna finish it in the morning and then start building firewall and dash...Set a 3 deuce manifold on it to see how it looks.. Not sure what direction I want to go with that yet...
    Jason.

  4. I definitely DON'T think you should run that manifold . You should give it to me instead .

Yes, the center link makes it dificult to remove... It will barely slide out...I will post more pics in the next few days.. Jason.

i think jason should run the tunnel ram with 2 4's instead. save the crazy cross ram thing for a sertain project. but the 3 2's look a little wimpy for this car, specially with the wheels on it....

    Hi,
the spring mounting point are too close to the diff(center of the axle)
    It will be a harsh(corrct word?)ride.
I had the same problem once.
    Regards
    Michael

Actually, suspension ride does not depend on the spacing of the springs nearly as much as it depends on spring rate and length.. The suspension on this very light car cycles very well and softly...I was concerned about the spring location when we started this project but... As it came together it works great.. Jason

It is supposed to be running and driving my the morro Bay car show at the start of May. I had a guy come into the shop and want to buy it so we will see what direction it goes... I know he wants front brakes instead of spindle mounts...He hasn't produced any cash yet but is known to buy a bunch of cars.... Jason.
