FOUND!!!!!Stolen Truck Alert!! Kansas City Area

Posting this for my friend KC****o(of Stovebolt) in KC, his buddy Larry had his truck stolen...joe

Please be on the lookout for Larry’s stolen truck. It is a
1971 Chevy long bed with Tinted Windows & Black Cloth Bed Cover.
Beautiful complete truck stolen march 6, 2008.
If you have seen it or do see it, please call

i have the abilene kansas area... there is alot of those trucks around.. but baby blue always catches my eye

I'm between Lawrence and Topeka everyday and will keep a sharp eye out.

 

I travel on I-35E daily and I got my eyes open just in case it's headed to Mexico.

 

still havent seen anything.. i hope it hasnt been stripped down to nothing and left for dead in a dark alley.... i hate thieves...

Call the KC channel 4 crime stoppers. They posted a drag car up last month on the local news & found it around a hundred miles south within a couple days. I'm sure they'd put an interview & pic of your truck on the local news like they did for that other guy. Carl Hagan

 

I heard this morning (via Gaileen at the Chevy club) that he found it. Don't know anything more.

THANKS to EVERYONE HELPING, GREAT NEWS THE TRUCK HAS BEEN FOUND!

Larry called this morning and he found it himself from a phone call that he received last night. Several things changed up on the truck (to make it look different) but all in all it is pretty good shape.

I really really appreciate the response that everyone on this site has given this issue. You guys rock!!

Damn that's awesome news! Did they catch the ***holes that stole it?

 

Wish I knew more but all I can tell is what ****o(Steve) told us. I'm sure he'll update us when the dust settles down...joe

 

Very few of these posts end happily with a recovery. Nice to see this one did. Hope the truck is still in pretty good shape.

 

and hope the guys that stole it are clinging to life on their deathbed

This is the first post I have seen on any website stating that a stolen car was actually found! Good news!

 

****o(Steve) posted it on Stovebolt, another friend of his posted it on one of the truck sites & I posted it on HAMB & 4 other sites. So the combined effort may have helpped in finding the truck. All I know is I would of been beside myself, just like the owner was if it had been my truck....joe
