I believe the color is flat turquoise......I really can't tell, it could be a clear coat with flattened clear or they may have just used only basecoat.

Could be either really. I think you'd have to be there to be able to tell for sure.

not sure EXACTLY what it is, but a "nice" cheapo way to get that effect is to use regular paint and wet sand with wd40. ive only seen it done on bike tanks and whatnot, so it would take a lot more wd40 for a car. i also just realized that i have used quotations like 10 times today on the JJ.

You could use washing up liquid in water with 1200 or 1500

Could be underhood paint. Fact is, it could be a million different things. If you're asking how to achieve that looks its been covered a thousand times, just search for satin paint, flat paint, etc.

Check out Hot Rod Flatzs @ www.tcpglobal.com, then click on the kustom shop, I'm sure they've got it!

maybe a blue ? i dont know i really like that color combo since it was on my dads bike .

  14. that color appears to be very close to a stock 55 olds color, although that is obviously not the original paint(shaved handles)...I've tinted primer to the same color before...not too hard to do..doesn't hold up to the weather/nor seal it out...best to use base/clear flattened.
