Let's see them. Built by hand or a shop, let's see them all.

And I'm looking for a pic that I have seen, but didn't save.

In the pic is a '33/34 Coupe Drag Car, with the 180deg Headers ( like in the pics I've posted of the GT40's and Lotus Formula Cars )
The Headers dump into 2 tapered pipes that run uphill in front of the Windshield.

The car was white, if I remember right.

If anybody could Post that pic, that would be really cool....

Heres headers for my 540'' B/B i made them my self 2 1/8'' to 3 1/2'' and then made a full length 3''mandrel bent system with series 50 flowmaster. All header parts are from misbent headers from ed's headers.

Here's a 3" exhaust system I built for my '64 GTO about 15 years ago. This was about a year or so before you could buy a 3" system from an aftermarket source.

The pipes are pieced together from .060 wall 304 stainless steel tubing and 12 mandrel-bent 90-degree sections. I used 3-1/2" Flowmaster race mufflers with reducing cones to mate up with the 3" pipes, the same thing was done to mate the 2-1/2" collectors on the HO Racing Tri-Y headers to the 3" pipes.

Tight clearance to the trans crossmember and floorpan, to maximize ground clearance.

    Transition to the muffler.

Over the back-braced 9" Ford axle.

I fabbed some 3" splitter tips to finish it off, a '64 GTO needs them for the 'right' look. I built some gravel shields for the forward pipe since the car was to be used for drag racing for a while.

Nothing else sounded like this car while it was making a run down the track.

The GTO as it looks now, a street bruiser.
