I know I drove it around a little at COBO but here is one of three runs around the block I took. This thing is really light and extremely tail happy. Plus I just love the sound of open headers. I haven't wiped the smile off my face yet. The cops actually rolled by really slow while Andria was editing this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOBBxSeFPvI
I am guessing that the pro mod stall converter was caused by low ****** fluid? Sounds and looks KILLER, congrats! Keep smiling, I know I would be. -Joe
Sitting in the garage right on top of the license plate The back window is too short for the plaque so I'll have to find somewhere else for it. I also have to get some mirrors, I completely didn't see that white pickup in the beginning of the video. He was directly behind me most of the time.
Wow sure wish my rod was finished. I will be doing the same thing this summer, can't wait. I bet it was a rush. Nice dude you did good.
Damn...that thing sounds like a hotrod should... I know you said its one of your old circle track engines....but what are the specs? Cam..etc....I watched the video a few times....Awesome. Looks great man. -Dustin
355 SBC with a .533 lift .525 duration solid lifter cam. Balanced Eagle rotating ***y with JE flat tops and 6.2" rods. Pro Top Line Lightning cast iron heads with 200cc runners and 50 cc chambers 2.02/1.60 valves. Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake and a Holley 500 2bbl. for right now.
Wow, thats a whole lotta motor for one of those and it sure does sound like it too. Nice. I was expecting some tail happiness around those curves and into the driveway. Like how you drove up on the front lawn comin in. Awesome job.
Haha, thanks Bill. Yeah I drove over the lawn because there are no front brakes. When you put the pedal down it gets from point A to point B rather quickly. I almost overshot the corner on the way back too. The steering isn't nearly as responsive as the throttle
Yeah, Scott. I see what you mean. It looks down right tuff rolling down the street. If Andria can't make it and you need a co-pilot, I'm in!
Scott, that thing has come a ways from the video with the camo flames with the first firing of the motor! Got to be proud. I bet that'd be a RIOT down at the Wally World parking lot with a little left turn and a lot of right foot!
nice sounding ride, do you have specs of your frame as we were talkin a little at cobo but had to run, need get with ya in near future to see if i can come look at your ride for ideas as to where mines going to go
HI Scott...talked to rich today and he told me about the video....looks and sounds killer....but it needs MORE CAM!!!!HA!!!!
