OK, time for the straight answer. Quite a few of us on the board now..............but as recently as 2003 I was about the only one from our great state. If you hit the Intro section and run a search you will find most of us. I heard that guy that replied above knows a bit about 6 bangers.........
Yeah TMan, I'll help with parts. And we are only 40 miles apart. But its the reputation thing that concerns me - I've only ever owned one or two 6 bangers. I dont want the word getting out - somebody might expect something, you know?
Air, fuel, spark.........really pretty simple. Inline6, there are tons of folks in the Watertown/Brookings/SW Mn areas that are willing to help you. The HAMB is a killer place but dont p*** over the guys in your local. Eastern South Dakota has a rich history of going fast........ask around. I KNOW you have talked to some folks that can help you right in redlin town.

I used to live in Rapid City for 26 years, but now I am down here in Las Vegas, going on 9 years. My parent and most of the family are still in RC, my brother is down in Scottsbluff, NE. He is my mid-west parts connection.

For the uneducated East river vs West river. The Missouri river seperates the cowboys from the dirt farmers, more like 2 different countrys. They really should have made East Dakota and West Dakota but then that ****hole Williston N.D. would be in my State. So I am only 10 miles from Montana and Wyoming and their Craigslist is waaaay better than the S.D. one. For what ever that's worth. Oh, I live in Belle Fourche right now and it's pretty much the ****hole town of the Black Hills too. But the good tin is plentiful and that's all I need. Plus we have awesome fibre optic high speed.
