425 caddy?

    any thoughts on 425 caddy motor, gotta line on a strong runnin one with trany for 300 or less is it worth it maybe put in my buick or save for future mischief.??

    yes! by all means,they are getting harder to come by these days. There is a guy with a stock425 caddy,in an old k-88 dragster chassis, that turns 6's in the 1/8 mile easy, and is having a blast with it,1st,and 2nd gear only!! An A sedan or roadster would be a real bomb with one.1 Get it Get it!! I wish i had one close by!! good luck ttyl, Glenn

    Schrader's in SoCal makes adapter to put the early valve covers on em. And I've been working on a 2x4 and 3x2 manifold for the 472 and 500's. No substitute for cubic inches!

    very interesting... thanks guys ill see if he wants to trade ,i have a running 302 with nothin to do ,and heis in the mustang phase now ..ill post back with results [​IMG]
