  4. Was that one of the 1/8 radio controll cars? Looks like the motor from a Lindberg Exterminator kit.

    nice looking kit anf finished product, used to do alot of modeling but got into On30 trains and bigger cars
     
  7. Thinking about it, the r/c car is 1/6th roughly so had I stopped and thought for a second it should have been obvious!
    Willys with a Y block, I love it!

    '36 5window, chopped with 6 from 57 Nomad kit. Scratched manifold w/ 6 side draft resin carbs. Airbrushed grafix.

    Thats all I need another project, why cant I finish a model?

    I don't have anything to show this time around, but you guys have got me going on this stuff again. I dragged out all my old parts and tools, bought paint and glue, and set up a work table in my spare room. I haven't tried to build anything since 2000 or so. Hopefully I'll have something to contribute in a week or two. BTW, will regular Rustoleum spray paint work on the plastic these kits are made from?

    I have used Rustoleum many times with never a problem. Same for Dupli-Color. I always prime first. I usually avoid enamels however, because of the long cure time.
