That has to be, no dought one of the nicest models I have seen in a long time.Awsome job!

 

Oh yea wasn't that the one that was found behind an old shop and the owner is going to sell it? LOL

 

Was that one of the 1/8 radio controll cars? Looks like the motor from a Lindberg Exterminator kit.

No it's a 1/8 scale resin body cast by robert hayes. But the motor was snitched from the exterminator kit. The suspension was robbed from the Big red rod kit

nice looking kit anf finished product, used to do alot of modeling but got into On30 trains and bigger cars

 

Thinking about it, the r/c car is 1/6th roughly so had I stopped and thought for a second it should have been obvious!
Willys with a Y block, I love it!

 

That thing is freakin awesome! Had to look twice, thought it was the real thing. Great job!

Here's 2 I'm working on,I like to get the paint and decals done first.Helps me get the look and stance I'm after.

here's mine for this go-round.
'36 5window, chopped with 6 from 57 Nomad kit. Scratched manifold w/ 6 side draft resin carbs. Airbrushed grafix.

 

That is amazing..it would look great in my display cabinet!!

 

And that....is why you should put it on eBay.

 

There are some very nice models here! I wish I could do something like that! Keep up the great work fellas!

Mo, now that is incredible work! Was that the Testors 48 coupe? I have been looking for one of those for years to customise.

Wow, didnt know it was that bad! Think I will use your other idea, both of them are floating around the collection.
Thats all I need another project, why cant I finish a model?

 

I don't have anything to show this time around, but you guys have got me going on this stuff again. I dragged out all my old parts and tools, bought paint and glue, and set up a work table in my spare room. I haven't tried to build anything since 2000 or so. Hopefully I'll have something to contribute in a week or two. BTW, will regular Rustoleum spray paint work on the plastic these kits are made from?

I have used Rustoleum many times with never a problem. Same for Dupli-Color. I always prime first. I usually avoid enamels however, because of the long cure time.
