got the willys certified to day to 8.50 by NHRA , and took these pics of the first time out of the shop since the build started. should be running next week. hope to see some of you guys at the thunder valley races this summer with us.................
nice car!!!!!i do have a question though, why do they call it a chassis sticker if its on the rollbar?guaranteed thats somethin you never thought about Troy
since it is one big unit i can see chassis as a correct phrase. the body is just a skin down over it all...
Congrats! Gotta admit it...FIRST time I've ever seen that version of Willys!!! I was expecting the normal Gasser Willys from the 30's and 40's...but that later version rocks. Great body style, kinda...Alfa like somehow. Awesome car...love one for running on the street.
Nice car. I have a factory re-serialed 53, same body style, but sold as 54. I love these cars. Nice to see someone saved another one.
Congrats and good luck. Car looks great! I've always had a soft spot in my head for those late model Willys... Keep us up to date, okay? Scotty
kool i find a few folks that have them and a few on here. I am still looking for a grille for this one if you happen upon one anywhere, keep me in mind. sam
Impressive for a home built car (no disrespect). Any reason you went with square tube main rails? Car looks great. Paco
is ok, my business is here at my home.... the gasser assoc would cut my nuts if i used round tubing chassis, bad enough it isnt high enough for them haha.....but it is a gasser and thats ok... thanks for looking
