DYNAMAT insulation V/S hardware store stuff: performance comparison: good read!

  1. Here is a link guys to a performance test comparing Dynamat against hardware store comparables.....interesting read....might help answer quite a few questions????????????

    I had mine done by a company called vortex. Its like a spray in liner...good stufff
     
  3. For about $300 Speedliner will send you everything you need to start a bedliner business . I bought it for my travel trailer restoration . We used it for some of our trucks at work and I'm using it for my own cars .

    I used some of that roll on bedliner stuff and then the shiny "space age" insulation from the home improvement store. My car was hot, cold, and loud. Damn hot rods anyway.

    thanks for sharing this info. im about ready to buy sound deadening for my wagon-- which is a lot of it. this article definitely helps.

    You will like it, if you have carpet to put over the deadener then use a bit of duct tape on the seams, it adds a bit more sound dampining for almost no cost in terms on time or dollers. Also I use a bit of calking around the dash and at any p*** throughs for wires and it helps as well.

    I used Lizard Skin on a 46 chevy and it worked great. It looks alot like bedliner, but works ten times better.

    over on hotrodders bulletin board there is a ton of info. have been using micro ballons and latex paint very inexpensive and work. lots of comments and experience.
