Some of the guys will be eating fries and kicking tires at the Dairy Queen in Capitola ( across from the Nob Hill ) we will be there at 7:30 pm, sorry for the short notice , drive your pile, come down and say Hi. John
Thats cool to know theres car guys around Capitola. My Grandpa's old house (my mom owns it now) is on Oak St a couple blocks from there. I spent all my summers as a kid there. One of these days I'll take a little vacation up there. It would be cool to meet some of you locals.
Good times, here's some pics some of the guys standing around, Tims kids in rich's T , some new lines on Marc's decklid , David's Pink DeSoto , Tims 54 Chev with new paint , Connor's truck.
a few more, the gold T is as found and a local survivor built in the late 50's by a girl here in town , Rich bought it from a local , found out it was his neighbors Niece's car , and that his Grandfather had done some of the work on it when it was being put together , small town. Tim's 5 yr old Landon driving Marc's A coupe, knows more about old cars than most " car guys " I have met. the pic at the stop light was while driving home , I guess cat piss and dirt on the windsheild makes a good filter to take cool pics while driving .
Hey, this is real time. Good to know you are havin' fun it's snowing here! I spent a lot of time in the kelp in Capatola. Back when ten guys at Pleasure Point, or The Hook was too many and reason to find less crowded places. Great times!
a few of the guys in our car club still surf , when I get wet, I body surf . I never thought I would be the wierd old fat guy bobbing around at 26th waiting for the next good set , but there is something about getting that one last good wave before the sun sets over your shoulder...... well you know what I mean. John
Yes, I do,and it can't be explained to someone who doesn't, especially if you are a wired old fat guy!
