Your guys show display was just superb. Enjoyed the way you put your hot rods up on two wheels, looked like you were flyin thru the turn of a banked dirt track. Thanks for sharing it with us. Just love Cad-powered Deuce five-window - it rocks! Well done.

  3. Nice cars and photos, a good representation that they are not "all" on the west coast.

That was on display front and center in the Pinstriping booth with STRICT ORDERS NOT TO SELL until late Sat. I wanted it to be there for a while..

It wasn't totally true cause YOU DID A TON on that car.. It WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN DONE OR MADE IT with out you, Slick. Thanks!!

THE BEST PART WAS.. Jay (Dynamats web guy)came by and saw it, and took 3 or 4 pics for Scott. He said, "Thats so cool of you to do.. Whitaker will love it!" then I heard one guy said he knew Whitaker and was gonna buy it for him cause, like every year.. Whitaker found a "reason" to be out of town for Cavilcade.. Well, that guy didn't get it, it went high.. to a fellow striper, "THE EGYPTION" from dayton..

Thanks again Slick.. When are we gonna see that 5 winder??

That was the highlight of the show for me. My camera decided that was the best time to screw up though. So thank goodness for these pictures. The display was great and I think everyone enjoyed being able to get a little closer and checking out the details.

Here's a link to the few pictures I took that day.

  20. Here's my view of the "Survivors area. First of all I would like to say that the guys who set up this particular area are first claas cats. These are truly "car guys". I know first hand what it takes to put something like this together. GOOD JOB, guys....Joshua, Mark, Wade and all the others guys who I don't know their name, well done.
I'll post lots more pics very soon. The trophy's were really cooool. I saw how these guys conducted themselves while putting this display together. Very laid back and NO Hassles, Can't say the same for the "shiners" on the west end....oh look their's foot print on my little black mat on the floor, Stop everything and get the Windex, call the paramedics....GEEEZ

That's not the one I noticed, but if you got more pics, post them.

The blue car with a yellow number...sitting on a trailer is the one that I was originally asking about
