I know I just posted update #13 a couple of days ago, but the progress is fast and furious as we get down to next week's deadline.

May Cause Dangerous now has it's smile. The grille's not fully finished, but it's close. Same for the dash!

    More soon!

When you first started this project, I didn't like it...too much lace...too much candy, too much fade, too much white (for my tastes anyway)...too much, too much, too much...BUT...

Now that it's coming together, nicely, I might add, I've changed my mind...it's looking pretty kool...

The only thing is you need to make sure the interior is as kool as the outside...
    is....

Bad ***. I can't wait to see this one in person and in the sun...

How's about a preview of the interior? I mean, if next week is the dead line, you've got to have the seats and door panels upholstered and ready to install, right?

The outer sides of the grill looks like 84-91 BMW 3 series grills.

What a waste of bandwith, Alex posted those photos on the other thread. Haha, only kidding. Really dig the grill, drawer pulls?

Wow... Just incredible. Will there be any trim pieces separating the colors on the door panels?

Using all the stock interior hardware? As far as arm rests and dash knobs, door handles, window cranks, etc...???

I don't know for sure. It's a secret process that Pearlcraft in Australia does. I sent them a piece of the drum skin to match.

    Kirk,
The pic that shows the horn ring is blurry. Is the horn ring insert painted,or stock? If not, I think it would look better painted with the emblem and letters showing original chrome....JMO...Great car...Mike

It has a diamond/waffle texture with blue in the low spots. The lettering is chrome. It's a perfect NOS piece.
