1927 roadster on stock 32 frame?

This one here is for sale in Denmark, its a plastic body with a 37/85 hp engine, 39 trans and a model A Ford rearend with 40 brakes

Here's how I did mine. I trimmed the rear horns, they were gone anyway. Narrowed at the firewall, pulled it back out at the front crowwmember and back in at the front frame horn tips. Billk

Flat-bill, you have made one nice roadster. Im already thinkin about buying the one in Denmark, and that is because of you and i dont think I can afford it, but anyway I need it now.

I followed this car on a two lane blacktop once and fell in love with the style and stance. It's just right in my opinion.

 

im planning to put a 27 on a 32 pontiac frame
it wont fit stock though....

have you checked out any of the old southern california track roadsters....alot of them in the end of 1946 into 1947 changed to smaller 27 bodies on 32 type frames....

I'd keep the coupe... it's at a point I think you could easily bring it to a whole new level. It doesn't appear to need much. It's stance and proportion struck me right away.

 

I've got an older book by Tex Smith "How to Build Real Hot Rods". In the back they cover a build of a 23 T body on a 32 frame and show pretty decent shots of the frame. Sorry I dont have a scanner.

By the way, what size wheels and tires are you running on your coupe?

Man, Tradel may just be the anti-Christ. Nobody can consistently build hotrods THAT perfect! NOBODY!!!! GAWD, I heart that roadster!!!

 

See..maybe people call your car a rat rod becuase they truly beleive you car does have no style and a terrible stance.
