Pictures from the first ever Billetproof Florida show held at Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing in Ocala. The show was great with easily over 500 cars in attendance, a good club turnout and Big Jef Special on the main stage! I saw license plates from California, New York, Tennessee, Ontario, Canada, and a couple motorcycles from Georgia...

    dv8 and MBL...

Word around the field was that the Volusa County Fairgrounds may be a location in the future, but we'll have wait for the official word here on the HAMB...

    Let's see some more shots...

I hope I can make it out to that show next year but that all depends on if I'm living in Tampa by that time.

im down in Orlando now and this show was killer. im just amazed how huge it was for a first year show. the Poorboys really did a great job. the pre party last night was a great time as well. i plan on making this a yearly event. Flordia is not all chrome smoothies and cry baby dolls. the cars down here are killer! and the fact that its in the mid 70's right now makes it oooo so much better

Anybody got any good shots of the VW busses that were there? (I can't deny my roots) In the background of one pic there is a single cab with some sort of bobber styled bike in the bed. Brings back some good memories. The bumpers say pre-58, but the decklid says otherwise.

What a great job on the pictures. I never realized how many cars ya miss while working a show. Everyone seemed pretty stoked and had a blast. Thanks to all that came and made our first Billitproof show a success. Mike

  23. Damn skippy Bry,:D Great to see you and Greg again, I am hurting after 2 weeks of thrashing and then standing/walking for another 2 days... Big Daddy was very impressed, and seeing him hand Doug Rose his trophy was a goose bump moment.

WOW is all I can say about the show.Talking to Alan he said this was bigger than Detroit right out of the box. This place was like woodstock just cars everywhere, full show field and full spectator lot,I heard that the line to get in was so long that it was back to the highway forcing gates to open an hour early, and that 400 car's came through before the offical 9:00 opening. There where a few glitches during the day but I didnt hear one complaint.I heard the rumor about moving show to fairground's but dont think that's gonna happen.Alan said he was going to try and rent the field on south side of property for spectator parking and expand show field to the current spectator lot. That would be cool cause the Museum is a great venue. I just want to say that Glenn and the rest of the Poorboy's did a great job .I know they worked there asses off.

Thanks for the pat on the back. We really tried to make the show fly and fly it did. Both bands kicked ass. The music was great and Nads, you can really slap a bass. It was great to see you up there. I am confused, though. Are you now with Big Jef or the Delusionaires or what?
Oh yeah, Alan's wife is Melissa. :D Mike
