All I see is white space under your all caps words. (Please don't use all caps words. It's like your yelling at us).

EDIT: at home I can see the pics. LOVE the car!

Hello HRP! Haven't seen too much of you lately over on Practical Machinist, and here I find you over here on HAMB!
I like your car and applaud you for excellent work on an unusual car.
Myself, at 70 yrs. I'm getting too old, stiff, and easily tired to start such an ambitous project, so I'm building up a Brookville '30/'31 roadster, and there are times when I wish I had bought a finished car like one of my friends did recently. But know what? He's already changing stuff to be more to his liking!
Ain't too many of us hot rodders who can buy a finished car and leave it alone!
I asked, or intended once to ask you, if it's true what I used to hear about the old Packard straight 8s , that they had fine, or SAE, threads on the head bolts into the cast iron block?
I really like your car and the details you have shown here are way more than you posted on PM.

  12. All 10-24 and 10-32 stainless stotted pan screws. The screws are excessive but look very nice to me. Its hard to make the inside of a roadster look right and not break my wallet.
So I used things I have had laying around the shop. All pannels are polished stainless with screws every one inch.

I have bought all the screws that the bolt shop had and ran out and had to order 500 more hoping that will get the job done and have a few spares.

  14. Looks great, from here ! I dig the shiny black rims with pinstripe !
So your now a VIP customer at the bolt shop...:D How many bolts do you think you will end up with, in total ?

  15. Here is a picture of the car before the new wheels and tires, The ride height was to low with the the other tires on it but instead of screwing with the springs and all that I really wanted to do tires like this in the first place. The car sits at a good height for my taste.

Took it out and drove it some today to see how it rode, the weather was to nice not to.
I cant wait for speed week this year! I really enjoy driving this car on the highway

  16. Lets put it this way there is 130 screws in the door alone and I have not counted the screws in the windsheild or back pannel yet.

The new wheels and tires look great.

Interior looks great as well. That has got to be pretty time consuming to do!
