Having a hard time getting the correct information:

    Are they interchangeable?

Which years have the same louvers all the way back and which have a couple shorter louvers to make room for the "Ford" and "V8" badges?

    Any help's great...thanks!

First thing 32 hoods only fit 32s.

You'll note that this 34 (My old one) has the 33 hood with all the louvers the same length. The 33-34 hoods interchange with the 34 having the divot in the louvers for the side emblem. I never liked the divot so I used a 33 hood. The 33-34 grills interchange also but are different. I used the 34 grill and the 33 hood.

I ***ume is is because of the 32 grille shell being different than the 33/34 grilles that make the 32 hood work for that year only?? Dont the 33-4 grills slant back a little bit? Am I way off?

You are correct. The '32 hood is the same as the p***enger hood for '32 (dimentionally). the '33-'34 grilles are laid back at the top and are wider than the '32 when viewed from the side.

    Thanks for the help guys.

What is the difference between the '33 and '34 grille shell then?

Would a '32 shell and hood fit on a '33/'34 cab, or no because of the different firewall?

Any more shots of your truck, tommy?

    This is my old one.

This is my current 34 P/U. The 34 grill has the stainless bead around the slots. A 33 grill doesn't have this trim or the holes for the trim. The 34 grill has a raised section for the chrome bull nose piece to mate to. A 33 grill has an oval recess for the Ford football to sit in but no bull nose or raised area extending from the radiator cap. The basic shape is the same and they can be interchanged.

A 32 Ford hood and shell will work on a 33/34 cab,,,,but you would have to use a 32 frame also,,,,

We have been working on the exact same set up today,,,the firewall juts out toward the engine more so the location where the firewall bolts to the frame must be moved back,,,,but the cabs are basically the same. HRP
