Kustom 54 Fords Who Has Them?

I recently picked up a 54 ford and its now chopped with a shoebox rear window and soon to get a oldsmobile taillights! I want to see whats out there so lets see pics

Ron, yours and Gary Howards are my two favorite cars. They look somewhat alike except in color. What color is yours other than the obvious green? Is it a PPG color?

 

These are a mix batch of 53's, there aren't to many guys who are into these but I like em cause the not you average go out and buy a shoebox. I am working on my 53 same body style as 54. Let me tell you so far its been alot of work and Im still not even close to being done.

Thanks, it is Omni which is made by PPG. The can looks like it says Winter Green(I thought it was Mint Green but they wrote Winter on the label) and it looks like 559A there may have been another number in front but it does not look like it. Anyway that should be close enough to figure it out.

And, I love Gary Howards also.

I have another roof and doors cause I thought I may chop it some day. But, I doubt that ever happens I like them to well unchopped.

here's my 53 convert back in the day and today. Gonna restore it to its former glory. The car was originally customized in the mid 60's.

 

this was my old 54... sold it 4 years ago to start Mad Fab..

 

I feel you i just got don with the chop and body work now time to paint im doing a baby blue metalic with a whit roof and white interior. Pictures soon to com

I have a 52 (same body style) and am doing some work to it as well. Was going to sell her to buy a shoebox, but thought the same- everyone has a 49-51. I plan on making my 52 something to look at, and with the rebuilt flatty running 3x2 97s, Reds Headers, MSD box, Isky 88 cam, she runs like a dream. Just purchased the Jamco full suspension lowering setup, and will install as soon as we get the bodywork smooth as glass. Ive really been going back and forth about the T5 conversion, but will probably keep the 3 on the tree as long as I can stand it. The last pic is of mine about a month ago.

Here is my Semi Custom 54 Ford - 55 Pontiac rear bumper, side trim, 50 Olds tail lights, 59 T-bird front bumper/grill combo. Help me pick some colors. I am thinking silver on the roof from the belt molding up. I will add some very fine flake or pearl to it. The body I am leaning towards that new fod light green seen on the Mercury Mountaineers tweaked with some green pearl mixed in OR the lime gold green from the Saturns of a couple years ago. The Spots are coming off. The Pontiac molding may be lost too. HELP!!!!!!!!

I would stab my mother to posses Jimmy Vaughn's '54 Ford. I was just looking at it yesterday in a older issue of TRJ and it's perfect. Great example of a car that needs no chop.

 

I love these cars soo much! and there are some sweet ones in this thread. I plan to definatly get one one day.

This one is a photochop, but i thought it turned out pretty cool

 

Her is my 53 Vicky, I just got it a couple of months ago from a member in my club.red top is how I got it, Bear did all the work to get it this way.Slowly gonna make it mine and pretty~
