Spent a full day out on the road yesterday.Choprods was along for the ride,so I had some good company ,helped make the trip a little shorter.Delivered a car I sold to a young guy,who is just getting started in this world we know as Hot Rods.It was great, to see his enthusiasm about his new car,and after visiting with him and seeing some of his bikes he had built,I think he will have no problem, building a cool car out of it and I am looking forward to seeing what he does with it.After that we made a long drive and picked up this T coupe, I have been looking for one of these for a long time now, and I feel I got a decent car, to start with. This is gonna have to wait, until I finish some of my existing projects, but really looking forward to doing it,have some evil thoughts about it right now! May have some extra parts,I will post on the Hamb classifieds first. Also a very special thanks to "carkiller" he located this for me and gave me the info I needed to contact the owner. Thanks Cal.Looks like THE HAMB works its magic again, without it,this probably would have never happened.Got home at 2:00 A.M. but feel no pain as it was all worth it! Heres a few pics. Reggie.
Hey, Troy, yea I still have the 59 and I walk by it every day!Probably should sell it, but have had no takers, think I might just keep it and make believers out of em, these days no one wants to do any wrenching, they just want to turn a key and drive still it stops and then move on to the next one.Me and Choprods have been eyeing it pretty hard and trying to come up with a cool transformation on it.Its very possible and is just gonna take some hard work, but right now Im knee deep in, tring to fiqure out my ride to the drags. You have your car pretty close?
I hope you have that thing locked in the garage!! Looks like a hell of a start, get it together so we can run em!! Mine`s coming along SLOW, but I bought a new Miller 210 this week so things should start moving along now...after this welder burn go`s away!!
From one Reggie to another, Great find my man. Those Tall-Ts make awesome hot rods. I can't wait to see it done!!
Hey Reggie, Nice find! That shouldn't take you and Kenny long to get on the road. With the pace you guy's work, it should be ready before Assdrager's. McCray

[/ QUOTE ] Hey man...been meaning to ask you how that T you found down in these parts is coming along!! Drove up to Cape a month or so ago, and that Packard is still sitting there. Unfortunately, I'm no closer to having the cash for it.
Nice score! My first hot rod was a 27T coupe, Olds engine. Wish I had it,wish I had taken pics but I was 15 when we built it, 1963 was a long time ago. Paid $10 for a nice body, farmer was using for a chicken coop. Sold body for $25 put a roadster body on the frame. One of my favorites is Mercury Charlies T coupe, nice car, nice guy!
Scarliner, arent you knee deep in rod material up there in sticks of Missery? Show me states if full of raw iron. I left KC and headed to FL, and there is nothing down here. Thinking about loading up a trailer and heading to KC to get some iron. Old neighbor had a dozen T&A's in the fence row! Good luck on yours? And what is the story on the 59? El Camino?
Tony, the keys in the car hauler, you can borrow the T for a year or so,just bring it back with a full tank when your done with it!But ya gotta get it running, before you return it.I might get a car going,if someone else builds it! Reggie, saw you and your car at the Hamb drags last year, but with everything that was happening, didnt get to meet with you.Hope to run into you there, this year, and we can have a good visit.Checked out your road trip to Paso, looked like a great time, the pics, almost made me feel like I was along for the drive. That A looks great, still have the 32? Im knee deep in trying to get a ride going for the drags, not for sure if its gonna happen, but I wont go down without a fight! Tommy, dont look for this one for a while,as I told Reggie, trying to get one running now. After I hit the half century mark,my priorities have changed a little, now I have to get some of this trash going and enjoy, before I kick the bucket! And I dont mean T-BUCKET either! Its that or let my wife sell it at an auction for 2 dollars, when Im gone! Mike, still working on the T as we speak. Bad, I think theres stuff everywhere, some places, its just hid better!I usually find more goodies, where you find more people, just make sense, they all had to have a car of some kind. The 59 is a two door post car,a definate project or parts car.But hey,I got a good deal on it,it was cheap. Hope to see all of you at that drags,Thanks for the kind words.Reggie
