ME. Brandon and I are driving down next Wednesday.

 

Hey, KIRK! I'd love to meet you! Don't have a clue what you look like or what you'll drive. I'm leaving Tucson Thursday morning, and staying at the Host hotel. Don't tell the HAMBers, but I'll be in a Marina Blue 66 Malibu with Arizona veteran's plates. I'll spend the late afternoon, early evening cleaning the car up after the drive over. I'll also have some adult beverage iced down and needing to be disposed of. Other HAMBers are welcome to help with the disposal if they don't give me too rough a time about my "late model".

The all Ways hot rods crew will be there with a red 34 5w, a red 40 coupe, a black 34 4dr, and a flamed merc outside, and a not so hamb 32 3w inside... some of us leave Phx tuesday, the rest leave thursday am... Kirk, you driving the starliner down? see everybody there...

 

Yah, Kirk.........bring the Skyliner.......we'll all be able to spot you then! I'll dig out the BIG cooler, and fill it up in Yuma.
Gregg, your Thursday bunch leaving in the morning? Maybe hook up out on I-8?

Weasel's gonna be there. Also check out my thread "Willys Night - Cruisin' Grand Escondido" - now thirty four Willys notified to be in Escondido and more expected. For those who have not been there, this is a great cruise where they actually do - cruise, that is. Wow, what a concept. The event is open to all pre 197? - Willys is just the featured marque for that date. It is about 20 miles from Del Mar from 4.00 pm onwards Friday 4th April.

This really is one of the best cruises in SoCal. If you haven't yet been it is worth checking out.

 

Ill be there, creeping, being somewhat unsocial.

Agreed. I used to love it when all the Front Engine Top Fuelers would fire up, right on the corner of Grand and Broadway... your heart pounds, you eyes water, you can't breathe...does it get any better than that?

Weasel, I moved away ome 3 years ago, if you can, get some shots of all the Willys or me... I imagine Mike Bamber will be there, since he lives so close by...

I,ll be there all 3 days in a red '32 Hiboy with a tan top, dragging a "SAINTS" plaque.

Damn.........just checked AOL weather........says showers Friday and Saturday.......that'll probably cut down on the car count........I'm still goin'!
