I have a friend, Gloria Moore, with a Chevell SS 396(which she has owned since high Skool) working on her car, even to taking the engine out, painting, and replacing.

I HAVE NOT seen one thing Chopt50 has done except

Kind of hard to take of a pic of my chick working on either my 59 Apache or 59 Caddy, since I'm the chick and I'm the one doing all the work. Maybe I could get my boyfriend to snap a shot of me if he every has the time. Or maybe I could take a pic of him working on one of them? At least you guys take PRIDE in your woman and support them learning how to work on customs. I on the other hand learned on my own. Lots of reading.
Tell your chics that don't approve if they want to ride in them they need to work on them and its not a money pit but a very good investment.

My wife loves cars and helps all the time. She is also better at finding them than me. She can spot an old car across a field or in a shed that I always seem to miss. Here she is undercoating the T-tub. She also like to do house painting, rooms, etc. Does it get any better? Nutz

you're all hot in my book. i suppose the now-banned chopt50 thought that there would be naked or semi-naked pix of women in this post. he obviously hasn't been around the block enough times to recognize "hot" when he's in its presence. i'd be very proud to have any of the ladies shown or mentioned herein as my friend, girlfriend, or wife. it's unconfirmed as of yet, but my fiance so far appears to be the kind of "roll-up-your-sleaves-and-get-the-work-done" kind of gal. if so maybe i can post a pic of her working on a hot rod sometime in the future.

it's no secret that our hobby, and this board, are male dominated, which is one of the reasons i am always appreciative of any lady who can &amp; does wrench on a hot rod.

there are some more gals on here that haven't been mentioned. i can think of at least a dozen or so. i'm sure that you don't care to toot your own horn, but we all know who you are and appreciate you. good on all of you.

Too cool! My dad was an airplane mechanic, so I find that picture particularly neat.

 

I have no pics as of yet, but the wife unit is very excited about getting started on the "A" project. She said she wanted to drive it. I told her if she helps me build it, she can drive it. She's eager to learn and I am eager for this to get started. I still need a shit-load of parts before I can even think about reloading the garage. We will post pics in the future.

the pics I have seen so far make me smile..it's great to see a lady like that, there are many of us who are not so lucky to have a wife/girlfriend/signifigant other that enjoys this little fascination of ours, I am cerrtainly proud of mine...she was upset because she had to go out and arrest bad guys instead of helpin' me with the tearin down of the 3-speed muncie...she wants to work on the '56...her dad had her workin on cars since she was in JR high, so I'm not skeered when she gets under the hood...

not a "workin on a car pic" but one of the ONLY pics she was willing to have taken with the digi-cam....hope its ok to post an O/T pic...
