What do you guys think of the flow of the chop? To high in the front, to low in the rear, let me know what you guys think.

  5. Looks great to me. I've got a 51 Sedan I'm chopping year from now & your's is a good picture of what I want.

The question I have is: your's looks like you raised the panel behind the rear glass and in front or the trunk lid (rear deck) What have you done there? or do I see something I missed looking at mine?? I do Like the hardtop look.

I raised the panel, to meet the window frame I thought it flowed into the trunk better that way. Actually Not to confuse you I just added metal from the area in front of the trunk to meat the height of the window frame. Hope this helps

That looks pretty hot. Im kind of into the fact that chopping them too much screws em up and thats right on. I have one of those things, Ill get to it after my Merc is done or something.

The shape of the top looks killer, but I am a firm believer that these cars NEED the post and the driprails. I also think that the corner where what used to be the quarter window ends needs to be rounded off. The sharp point just doesn't fit with the rest of the round parts of the car.

The reason I squared off the back window was to match the front, I tried it both ways and the way i did it was what I thought looked the best. It did take me a while to decide which way to go with it. So far I have one week into the chop, 40 hours roughly.

How would it look if the flow (angle) roofline of the top of the rear quarter window matched the same angle (flow) of the rear window? Also, be sure and round the lower rear door corner and the rear quater window where it meets the body.
