I've talked to a few Houston area H.A.M.B.ers who are unaware that we meet at the Dark Horse Tavern on the first Sunday every month. There's no meeting next month because of the Round Up but we will be there in May. You can email me for more info.

I am actually going to be in Houston with the better half from the 3rd to the 6th and we may be moving there. Is it a good town for custom cars?

it's pretty cool out here, we get together every friday night on the north side and meet up with the rest of the hambers once a month in the heights.

houston will be a ghost town come next weekend, we're all headed to austin. you might want to consider taking a detour :D

BTW if I go to Austin it'll just be Saturday so I'll be at the Dark Horse Sunday if anyone wants to show up.

Sounds sweet to me. I'll be starting a new job in houston on April 7 and will be in town for several weeks while the wife and kids are still in Indiana. I'll need something to do in my spare time. Anybody need help with their car? I can probably fit a pair of vise grips and a crescent wrench in my suitcase...and I have a ball peen hammer that is great for bodywork!

Thanks hou. I went ahead and removed the door trim as I didn't have the rear door ones. Yesterday I started pulling all trim and sanding down to bare metal. She'll be satin black with light blue top and rear fenders. The Riviera mags are going away and I painted the steel rims red. She'll be sporting the full Buick script hubcaps with red letters. The spear in the hood ornament broke off so I fit an 8ball shift knob there.
