Just picked up this 53 Chevy 210 and need some help trying to visualize what it would look like dropped and with different rim/tire combinations. I really dont have any idea what combination of rims/tires would look good on this car with the current paint, thats where you all come into play. My budget doesnt allow me to repaint it at this time, which is ok since the paint is in good condition. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank You

Steelies look the best on these. fat white walls if you've got the $$$$.
and unless you're planning on baggin' it to get here LOW, you can only SAFLEY go down 3"-5",...and 5 is pushing it.
i've got a '53 with 3" blocks and 2 leafs removed and thats all the room i've got 'till i start planning to hack up the frame. the combo i used puts you pretty damn close to the scrub line as well...don't want to ever go lower than that.

front, i have 2 coils cut and that gets the very top of the tire just inside the wheel well. looks good to me. once again....just imagine it a couple inches lower or start planning bags.

Steelies are gorgeous ... but I always thought astro supremes with pinner whites looked good too, especially since it has so much good chrome. Congratulations. Oh yeah, check out 50chevy.com for a ****load of photos with some more ideas.

whats wrong with that color? I'd just shine it up and drive it! Sure wish I'd gotten ahold of my '53 before the last guy painted it!

lower it, slap on some WWW bias-plys with black steelies, or even chrome-reverse wheels % spider caps and drive the **** out of it!!

  7. Keep the steelies, and give 'em a two tone green fade job with chrome spiders and rings.

    Here you go!!!!

  15. Dropped a couple of inches, using steel wheels with wide whites are definately the way to go. Then drive it and have fun. The body looks great as-is.
